How to find a Groomer for Your Schnauzer Puppy

One of the biggest aspects of the Schnauzer breed is their fur, from the double coat to the hypoallergenic fur and the classic Schnauzer face. Starting when they’re about 4 months old, Schnauzers need to be groomed about once every 4 to 6 weeks. This keeps their fur well cared for, and can be a great part of Schnauzer puppy training and socialization. However, if this is your first Miniature Schnauzer puppy, finding the right groomer can be difficult.

The best way to start your search is to find some options to choose from. There are a variety of ways to do this.

There are a lot of great tutorials and videos online to help you when you’re starting. If you do it yourself, we recommend starting with a shorter cut. Short cuts are lower maintenance, easier to learn, and great for dogs who love going outside in mud or snow.
